My Golf Buddies ("the app") is designed with your privacy in mind. This policy explains what information the app handles and how.
We do not collect any personal data. My Golf Buddies does not require an account, and we do not operate any servers that receive your information. All data you enter — including players, rounds, golf clubs, and courses — is stored locally on your device only.
The information you enter is used solely to provide the app's features on your device. When you view the Clubs map, club and course names are sent to Apple Maps to look up their locations. This lookup is handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy; we do not receive or store the results anywhere other than on your device.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. Because your data never leaves your device (except for the Apple Maps lookups described above), we have no access to it.
The app lets you export your data to a file and import it back. These files are created and managed entirely by you. If you share an export file, you are responsible for how and with whom it is shared.
Your data remains on your device until you delete it within the app or remove the app. Deleting the app removes all of its stored data from your device.
The app does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
